Jambul or Jamun is a purple coloured summer fruit. Latin name Syzygium cumini. It is also called Jamun in India and Pakistan. It is known by several local names such as jambas, jamun, neredu, naval, nerale, jamali, java plum, jambolan, rajaman, kala jamun, black plum and black berry. It is a large evergreen Asian tree of the myrtle family. Fruits are eaten raw and may be used to make tarts, sauces and jam. It is beneficial for health. There is vitamin A, B, C, calcium, protein found in Jamun.

 

Jamun ke Fayde

Aam ka mosam shuru hote hi amooman jamun bhi bazaar mein farokht hone lgta hai. Jamun ka nabatati naam Syzygium cumini hai jab keh English mein ise Jambolan kehte hain. Yeh phal Barr e Saghir kay mulkon mein aam paya jata hai. Jamun kay be shumar tibbi fawaid bataye jate hain.

Jamun mein jigar kay amraaz se bachao balkeh sartani khalyaat ki afzaish rokne ki bhi salahiyat dekhi gayi hai. Jis ki mumkina tojeh yeh ki jati hai keh is mein polyphenols samet motaddid phytochemicals paye jati hain . In mein purple mada Anthocyanin bhi shamil hai. Bataya jata hai keh chemotherapy aur degar tabkar ilaj kay doran jamun kay istemaal se mareez ko faidah hota hai. Jamun mein khoon ko fasid madon se paak jaraseem kash khasoosyaat hoti hai is liye danton aur masoron ko mzboot banane wali dawaon mein in ko istemaal kia jata hai. Jamun kay darakht ki chal pait kay kiron ko marne aur pishab kay amraaz kay ilaj mein desi mualjeen istemaal karte hain. Is ki chal ki jaraseem kash khobyon kay pesh nazar masoron se khoon rasne ki bimari (Gingivitis) mein ise pani mein boil kar gharah karne ka mashwarah dia jata hai.
