Potato Beans Mix in Urdu

Ingredients

Red kidney bean---2 cups
Potatoes-1/2 cup
Yoghurt--1 cup
White cumin seed--1 tbsp, ground
Red chilli powder--1/2 tbsp
Turmeric--1/2 tsp
Ginger/garlic paste--1 tsp
Oil--1/2 cup
Salt--as required
Cream--2 tbsp
Milk--1/2 cup
Spring onions, lemon, chaat masala-for garnishing

Method

Soak beans in water for 2-3 hours. Boil the beans well. Take out the beans in a bowl.

Add yoghurt, cumin seeds, chilli powder, turmeric, ginger/garlic paste and salt.

Heat oil in a pan, fry potatoes for 2 minutes. Add the mixture in the bowl to the pan and cook well.

Remove from the heat, add milk, mix and then put in the wok. Cover and cook for a few minutes on low heat.

When potatoes become tender and gravy is thick, remove from the heat. Add cream, garnish and serve.

Potato and Fish Croquettes

Ingredients

Aalo--------- 2 big size
Machli ke katle ----------4 adad drmiana
Ande ki zrdi---------- 1 adad
Lehsan ke jawe (kuchle huye) -----------2 adad
Maidah------------1 cup
Bread crumbs--------- ½ cup
pisi huyi jaifal --------- chutki bhar
Salt----------- hasbe zaiqa
Fresh cream -----------2 tbsp
Pisi huyi siah mirch ----------¼ tsp
Egg (pheinte huye) ------------3 adad
Butter -------------20 gm
Cooking oil ----------tlne ke liye
Peanut oil-------- 1 tbsp
Olive oil ---------1 tbsp

Method

Potatoes ko cheel kar dho lein, chote tukron mein kaat lein. Degchi mein pani garam karein. Kate huye potatoes aur chutki bhar namak daal kar dhak kar pkne rakh dein. Potato gal jayein to pani nithar kar pan mein daal kar dhimi aanch par rakh dein.

Kante ki madad se inhein mix kar lein, ande ki zardi , jaifal mirch aur namak bhi shamil kar dein.

Is mixture ko thanda hone dein.

Pan mein olive oil garam karein, lehsan daal kar narm kar lein, machli ke qatle daal kar ulat plat kar te huye gala lein. Machli ko pan mein chamche ki madad se tor lein phir ise potato ke bharte mein daal dein.

Hasbe zaiqa namak siah mirch aur fresh cream shamil kar ke tamam ajza ko achi tarah mix karein.

Bri plate mein maidah namak aur mirch mila lein. Cup mein pheint ne huye ande mein peanut oil mila kar mazeed pheintein. Bread crumbs bhi bari plate mein nikal lein.

Potato aur machli ke mixture ke ande ke shape jaise croquettes bana lein phir inhein maidah se coat karein is ke baad ande aur phir bread crumbs se coat kar lein.

Agar bhrtah narm hoto bread crumbs se coat karne ke baad dobarah ande mein dip kr ke phir bread crumbs se coat karein karahi mein oil garam kar ke tamam croquettes golden fry kar lein jazib kaghaz par rakhein takeh izafi oil khushk ho sake.
