About Sindh

Sindh is the second largest province of Pakistan, its capital in Karachi. Sindh is located on the western corner of South Asia; it is bordered by Balochistan in the west, Punjab in the north, The Indian States of Gujrat and Rajasthan in the east and Arabian Sea in the south. Sindh has total area is 40,914 km2 (54,407 sq mi). There are two gigantic seaports in Sindh and both are located in Karachi. The biggest international airport of Pakistan is also situated in Karachi and known as Qaid-e-Azam International airport. The Indus River passes through almost middle of the Sindh. Sindh lies in a tropical to subtropical region; it is hot in the summer and mild to warm in winter. In Sindh Sindhi language is spoken by more than 25 million people and other languages are including Urdu, Punjabi, Pashto, Balochi, Kashmiri, Gujarati, Memoni, Dari, Kutchi, Khowar, Shina, Kashmiri, Bangali Thari, Lari (dialect), and Brahui.
